Could your community sport project benefit from up to £1,500 in funding?
Each year Sport Wales work in partnership with the 22 Local Authorities in Wales to provide funding to help community sport projects increase their participation levels and improve their standards through the Community Chest grant scheme.
Who can apply for a Community Chest grant? Any group that holds an account (be it a Bank, Building Society or Credit Union account), in their organisation's name. This could include sports clubs or associations, youth clubs or community groups.
If you’re based in Blaenau Gwent and would like to apply for a Community Chest Grant, but need some help with the application process, come along to our FREE Funding Workshop on Tuesday 19th June from 6.30pm – 8pm at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre.
Our Inspire Sports Development staff will also be on hand throughout the workshop to offer advice on how you can develop your club or organization.
To book a free workshop space please contact Chris Garrett on 01495 353394 or 07773 312662 or email him at chris.garrett@aneurinleisure.org.uk
