Join us at Bedwellty House & Park on Thursday 22nd March for a special evening with two of Welsh Rugby’s finest; Shane Williams and Ryan Jones, as they share their stories of life both on and off the pitch with host, former Ospreys Coach and TV and Radio rugby expert, Sean Holley.

Guests will be treated to a red carpet arrival and welcome drinks at the iconic Grade II listed venue before sitting down to enjoy a sumptuous three course meal.  After dinner, experienced television and radio presenter Sean Holley will introduce the evening’s special guests, and take the audience in a journey into the professional world of Welsh rugby.

Shane Williams MBE had a long and successful tenure as a wing for the Ospreys and the Wales national team. He is the record try scorer for Wales, scoring 58 tries in 87 appearances between 2000 and 2011 and is Wales' most capped winger.  Following his retirement from international rugby in 2012, Shane has worked as a presenter on S4C's Six Nations rugby programme Y Clwb Rygbi Rhyngwladol, and as a pundit on BBC and ITV broadcasts as well as third party shows such as "Inside Welsh Rugby", commenting on the grassroots of Welsh rugby.

Ryan Jones is one of an elite band of players to have won three Grand Slams with Wales and also played an integral role in his country's retention of the RBS 6 Nations title in 2013.  He captained Wales in 2008, leading his team to a second Grand Slam in four years, and held the record as Wales most capped captain.  In 2016 Ryan joined the WRU executive board as Head of Rugby Participation with a remit to get more people across Wales engaged more often with rugby at all levels and in all its forms.  In doing so he represents more than 300 clubs across Wales and provides them with a voice at rugby’s top table.

Sean Holley coached rugby an the elite level for over 20 years, coaching both Ryan and Shane for many years at the Ospreys, before taking on freelance roles in the business, media and sport sectors.  Sean is currently a BBC Wales Rugby Expert working in TV and radio providing analysis, commentary & punditry, he also works on BT Sport Rugby programmes.   He hosts the Sony Award Winning weekly 'Rugby Nation Radio Show' across Nation Broadcasting stations and currently writes a monthly column in the World's biggest selling rugby publication - Rugby World, entitled 'The Analyst'.
