To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III each of our libraries across Blaenau Gwent have put together a very special Royal reading space, showcasing a collection of coronation inspired books for all ages.

Titles range from fiction and fun children’s books to autobiographies and books on British history - all of which are free to borrow by library members.

To keep the little ones entertained on your visit we also have a FREE royal treasure trail in each of our libraries and children’s activity packs - ask a member of our team about them when you visit.

Planning a party or picnic? Brynmawr Library also has a collection of amazing coronation inspired recipes on display from a whole range of celebrity chefs! Snap a picture or pick up a copy in order to add a little something extra to your weekend dining.

Don’t forget - you can also borrow a range of sports equipment from your local library to use at home or while you’re out and about - there’s a range of balls available as well as cricket, badminton, bowls and table tennis sets and foam flyers. All are FREE to borrow for 3 weeks.
