Elmer Week at Blaenau Gwent Libraries
On Saturday 25th of May, Elmer, everyone's favourite patchwork elephant is turning 35!
Elmer is one of the most iconic and widely read children’s book series of all time, and to celebrate this auspicious birthday, all our libraries across Blaenau Gwent will be having an Elmer themed week from Monday 20th to Saturday 25th May.
Throughout the week, our libraries will have a range of FREE drop in activities, including Elmer themed colouring and activities, as well as a treasure hunt to find Elmer and all his friends who are hiding amongst the book shelves!
We will also have a FREE story time in each library:
Monday 20th May - Ebbw Vale Library 3.30pm – 4pm | Tredegar Library 4.30pm – 5pm
Tuesday 21st May - Abertillery Library 3.30pm – 4pm
Thursday 23rd May - Brynmawr Library 3.30pm – 4pm | Cwm Library 4.30pm – 5pm
Friday 24th May - Blaina Library 3pm – 3.30pm
No booking is necessary for any of the activities or story time sessions.
