Update on Covid-19 Restrictions at our Venues

Whilst legal restrictions in Wales have ended, Aneurin Leisure Trust will still be taking steps to reduce the risk of Covid-19 within all our venues in order to keep our customers and staff as safe as possible.

We ask that all visitors to our venues please continue to wash their hands regularly, use the hand sanitiser and sprays provided and do not close any windows that have been opened for ventilation. Anyone wishing to wear a face covering in our venues is welcome to do so.

If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have tested positive for Covid-19, please do not attend any of our venues.

Protective screens will remain in our venues for the time being while we adjust to the increased capacities for sessions and activities.

In addition to these safety considerations, there are also some updates for specific services within our Trust:

Adult Community Learning
Following the end of the Easter holidays, our courses will resume from Monday 25th April with all classes returning to in person learning.

Bedwellty House & Park
The Orchid House Tea Room is open as normal - and while track and trace data is no longer required, we do recommend that people book tables for dining in advance, where possible, to avoid disappointment during busy times. Please note that advance bookings are required for Afternoon Tea and Sunday Lunch.

There are no longer any capacity limits on the number of people that can attend functions and weddings at the venue.

Libraries
All of our library services are once again available without restrictions, including book/audiobook loans, computer use, printing services and group activities.

Parc Bryn Bach
All facilities within the park are now open as normal.

Sports Centres
We will be increasing the capacity limits on all sessions to allow more people to attend the gym, swimming pools and group exercise classes.

Advance booking will still be required for all gym sessions, group exercise classes and Monday to Friday swim sessions. Bookings can be made by calling your local sports centre, life members can also book via the Aneurin leisure app or website at www.bglife.co.uk

There will no longer be a booking system in place for our weekend swim sessions at any of our centres, customers will simply pay on entry. Please note that Ebbw Vale Sports Centre will reintroduce a band system for their weekend Swim and Slide sessions to manage capacity at busy times.

Our priority, as always, is the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff and we aim to make every visit to our venues a great experience.

Thank you all for your support and co-operation.
