We are pleased to announce that our Libraries Services in Blaenau Gwent will be resuming their Call & Collect and Home Delivery services from Monday 8th February.
Our Call & Collect service enables customers to ring their local library to tell our staff what they would like to read, and then arrange a day and time to collect their order from the library. All collection appointments are contactless, with each order being left in a bag just inside the library foyer. All collection appointments are also separated throughout the day to ensure that only one customer is making a collection at a time.
The safety of our customers and staff is our top priority, so whilst Wales remains at Alert Level 4 we will be operating a reduced service, which will be reviewed weekly depending on demand:
Abertillery Library - Tuesday and Thursday
Call 01495 355646
Brynmawr Library - Tuesday and Thursday
Call 01495 357743
Cwm Library - Tuesday morning Post Office service only, Call & Collect on Thursday only
Call 01495 370454
Ebbw Vale Library - Monday and Friday
Call 01495 355055
Tredegar Library - Tuesday and Friday
Call 01495 357869
Home Delivery customers will be contacted by our staff to arrange delivery dates.
Please note at this time use of our library computers and browsing by appointment will not be available – these services will remain suspended until it is safe to restart them.
In addition to borrowing books and audiobooks from our libraries, our library members also have 24/7 access to FREE online resources, including free eBooks and eAudiobooks via the BorrowBox app, and FREE eMagazines and eComics via the RB Digital Uk app – all of which can be downloaded to any smart phone, tablet or computer from the comfort of your own home.
For more information on any of these services please contact your local library between 10am and 4pm from Monday 8th February.
