Pogo & Stick's Potion Mission

Date: Tuesday 27 October 2020
Time: 10:00am - 03:00pm
Location: Bedwellty House & Park
Contact: 01495 353397

Description:

Calling all ghosts and ghouls! Join the Louby Lou Team at Bedwellty House & Park this October half term, for a spooktacular adventure.

Halloween is almost here and Stick the friendly witch is busy preparing her famous pumpkin potion! However, the cauldron pot is bubbling and it seems she is missing a few key ingredients. Perhaps you could collect them for her and bring them straight to her potion room? Keep an eye on her mischievous cat Pogo though! That cheeky little feline just loves to cause trouble.

Recommended Age: 3+
Tickets: £6.50 Per Child - buy them online at www.ticketsource/loubyloustories

This 45 minute experience is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween safely this year and here is how it all works.

Arrive at Bedwellty House where you will be greeted by our storyteller. Once everyone in the group has arrived, your storyteller will guide you through the one way system and take you to your socially distanced spots. Here you will be told the story of Stick the witch and her mischievous cat, Pogo. Those over 11 years old will need to wear a mask whilst indoors and don't forget to sanitise those hands on the way in.

Next, it's time to say hello to Pogo herself. She's feeling rather mischievous today and will guide you on a small outdoor trail around the park grounds to collect Stick's missing potion ingredients. Once collected, Pogo will show you the way to Stick's house, where she'll leave you for some more spooktacular fun.

Finally, it's time to head into Stick's house and help her to finish the pumpkin potion. She'll be wearing a special potion making visor to stop it splattering in her eyes and she has a strict rule of 'no adults allowed.' Don't worry though, she'll let you watch her potion making skills from the windows and doorway. After helping to complete the potion, Stick may just have some little sweet treats for you to take home!

Our spooktacular experience will be running in time slots throughout the day, so please can we ask that you arrive to your slot a few minutes early. Each slot will contain a small group of attendees so that social distancing can be easily maintained.

Group One: 10am - 10:45am
Group Two: 10:30am - 11:15am (SOLD OUT)
Group Three: 11am - 11:45am (SOLD OUT)
Group Four: 1pm - 1:45pm
Group Five: 1:30pm - 2:15pm
Group Six: 2pm - 2:45pm

In order to keep these small groups, please can we ask that...

All children are accounted for on booking.
Only one accompanying adult attends the event per child.

This event is situated within the Blaenau Gwent borough. Due to local lockdown restrictions, only those that live within this borough will be permitted to attend.

The majority of our experience will take place outdoors in all weathers, so please make sure you dress accordingly for the weather on the day. Children will be invited inside Stick's potion room, but please can we ask all adults to remain outside to comply with government guidelines.

Bedwellty House will be operating a one way system around the building. When using the indoor spaces, please can we ask that those over the age of 11 years wear a mask at all times. We encourage making use of the hand sanitising stations available. We ask that attendees also scan the NHS track and trace QR code on arrival or provide your contact details to our team.

Please do not attend this event if you or anyone in your household is displaying Covid-19 symptoms.

You will also be able to reserve a table for dining upon booking. Please can we remind you, that this is only for those who live within the same household.

The recommended age for this adventure is 3 years and above.

Tickets are non-refundable.
