explore your possibilities with Libraries, Heritage and Community Education

Through our Libraries, Heritage and Community Education services we offer people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to broaden their horizons by providing knowledge, guidance, education and development opportunities, whether for personal growth or professional development.

Our Libraries not only offer a fantastic range of books for every interest and occasion, but also a variety of services ranging from free computer and internet access, to IT taster sessions, Job Clubs and children’s activity sessions – all provided in a fun and friendly environment!

Community Education provides valuable opportunities for adults aged 16 plus to access a wide range of courses, classes and activities, which can help you to discover a new interest or even help you to develop your skills and qualifications to improve your future career prospects.

Discover the intriguing secrets of our local history with a look through our comprehensive Heritage section.  We can take you on a journey back in time to explore Blaenau Gwent through ancient monuments, folklore, industrial archaeology, heritage trails and historical sites!  Our aim is to protect this unique history and develop heritage activities for the benefit of local people and communities.
