Welcome to Aneurin Leisure, an exciting venture which delivers leisure, learning and cultural services across Blaenau Gwent.

As a community focussed organisation, we are passionate about making a positive impact to people’s lives by not only improving physical health and wellbeing, but also their mental and social wellbeing through our diverse range of services and facilities.

Aneurin Leisure is a Not for Profit Distributing Organisation, which means that every time you use one of our venues or services, the money you spend is reinvested back into our organisation, helping us to continue to provide a high standard of facilities and services across Blaenau Gwent.

As a charity, we are managed by a Board of Trustees who are formed from a broad cross-section of the community and are committed to ensuring that we continue to develop our provision and services, making this an organisation that Blaenau Gwent can be proud of.

Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updated 29 March 2021 

Following the Welsh Government’s announcement regarding the easing of restrictons we would like to provide the following service updates for our venues:

Libraries

We are now offering customers the opportunity to visit our libraries - strictly by appointment only - to browse our shelves for their next reading choice or use a library computer. Call & Collect and Home Delivery services are also still available for customers.

Library members can also access free e-books, e-audiobooks and e-magazines via the BorrowBox and RB Digital UK apps. 

Learning Action Centres

Classes will resume from week commencing Monday 12th April.  Our tutors have contacted all learners to confirm if their class is to be delivered on-line or at one of our Learning Action Centres.

Sports Centres

All our Sports Centres remain closed as part of the national Coronavirus restrictions in Wales.

We would like to reassure everyone that ALL life membership and swim school direct debit payments will be frozen until we are able to reopen.

Bedwellty House & Park

Bedwellty Park is open daily from 8.30am – 8.30pm for visitors to walk around the gardens.  The Orchid House Tea Room is open for takeaway refreshments on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am - 3.30pm.

Parc Bryn Bach

The park and car parks are open daily from 8.30am – 8.30pm.

The Children's Play Area is open daily from 11am - 6pm, with Quiet Hours for children wih additional needs from 10am - 11am and 6pm - 7pm.

The Lake View Cafe Kiosk is open for takeaways from 10.30am - 4.30pm.  

The 9 hole golf course is still undergoing maintenance but the Driving Range is open and tokens can be purchased from the Lake View Cafe Kiosk.
