Welcome to Aneurin Leisure, an exciting venture which delivers leisure, learning and cultural services across Blaenau Gwent.

As a community focussed organisation, we are passionate about making a positive impact to people’s lives by not only improving physical health and wellbeing, but also their mental and social wellbeing through our diverse range of services and facilities.

Aneurin Leisure is a Not for Profit Distributing Organisation, which means that every time you use one of our venues or services, the money you spend is reinvested back into our organisation, helping us to continue to provide a high standard of facilities and services across Blaenau Gwent.

As a charity, we are managed by a Board of Trustees who are formed from a broad cross-section of the community and are committed to ensuring that we continue to develop our provision and services, making this an organisation that Blaenau Gwent can be proud of.

Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updated 11 January 2021 

Following the Welsh Government’s announcement regarding the new Alert Level 4 restrictions facing the Welsh public from 19th December 2020 we would like to provide the following service updates for our venues:

Libraries

All our libraries are now closed for in-person services - inlcuding Call & Collect, Home Delivery and Computer Sessions.

Library members can still access free e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and e-comics 24/7 via the Borrowbox and RB Digital Uk apps. 

Learning Action Centres

All our Adult Education Centres will remain closed to the public until the end of the month and all teaching will be carried out remotely or by blended learning. If learners have any queries please contact your tutor or email karen.bennett@aneurinleisure.org.uk

Sports Centres

All our Sports Centres are now closed as part of the Alert level 4 restrictions in Wales.

We would like to reassure everyone that ALL life membership and swim school direct debit payments will be frozen until we are able to reopen.
 

Bedwellty House & Park

Bedwellty Park will be open daily from 8.30am – 5.30pm.

Bedwellty House and the Tea Room will remain closed until the new year. Our Tea Room will reopen for takeaway service only from 11am – 3pm on Tuesday 5th January.

Parc Bryn Bach

The park is open daily from 8.30am – 5.30pm for pedestrians from the local area.

The main vehicle gates, car parks, Visitor Centre, public toilets, cafe kiosk and golf facilities are closed.
