Engaging the community
Across all our sites we work to improve community life and understanding and working to help achieve the needs and aspirations of the people of Blaenau Gwent is at the heart of everything we do.
Our community engagement officer, Adam Hughes, is central to this objective. He’s working with partners across the region to help raise awareness of the initiatives that are taking place in local communities to help improve the health and wellbeing of all residents.
Some of the initiatives that Adam’s involved with include promoting new initiatives through your local library such as renting sports equipment and litter picking equipment; the Family Engagement Project; working with partners to recruit volunteers to help with maintaining the grounds at Parc Bryn Bach and Bedwellty House and Park; liaising with other local charities in formulating their fundraising activities and many more.
