This summer we will be changing our swimming lessons for our littlest students from Splash to Octopus, so we can include some extra work on confidence building and swim technique that will benefit them as they move onto our Waves lessons.

What won’t be changing?

The times and days of the lessons and the price will all stay the same.

What will be changing?

• Instead of being called Splash the lessons will be called Octopus, and we have a new fun mascot!

•  There will be one extra stage of lessons where parents will be in the water with their child, so Splash 1 – 3 will become Octopus 1 – 4.

• There will also be one extra stage of lessons where teachers will be in the water with the children, so Splash 4 – 6 will change to Octopus 5 – 8.

• All our Octopus lessons will be available on the new Go Learn digital swim school platform (just like our Waves lessons), which means that you can keep up to date with your child’s progress every step of the way and arrange payments online, removing the need to re-enrol at the end of every block of lessons.  You’ll also get notifications when your child is ready to move up and when you need to top up your swimming lesson payments for the next block of lessons.

What happens next?

Our current block of swimming lessons is coming to an end, so all parents will need to re-enrol their child from week commencing Monday 11th July.

When you contact your local sports centre to re-enrol, please make sure we have your correct email address so we can set you up with access to our new Go Learn swim school platform.

We will then transfer all our students over to their new Octopus stage – ready for the start of the new block of swimming lessons starting from Monday 18th July.

If we have your email address, you will receive a confirmation email from us with a link to the new Go Learn swim school portal – once you click on the link and set your account up you will be able to follow your child’s progress in each of their lessons, seeing what they’ve completed and what they need to work on.
