Citizen Science Afternoon

  • Parc Bryn Bach Merthyr Rd Wales, NP22 3AY United Kingdom (map)

Come along and help our local Biodiversity & Ecology team from Blaenau Gwent Council to record some of the amazing wildlife that we have at the park!

The team are looking to capture data on the species of birds, plants and insects that can be found at the park, helping us to stay informed about what species we having living at the park.

Field guides will be provided to help with identification, but volunteers are also welcome to bring their own binoculars if they have them.

Some of the work will be done away from the footpaths, so please wear boots/wellies/sturdy footwear (that you don’t mind getting muddy) and the appropriate outdoor weather clothing to keep you warm and dry (coats/hats/waterproofs etc).
