Join us and experience the breath-taking beauty of the Sugar Loaf Mountain at sunset!
The Sugar Loaf Walk is one of the best places in South Wales to watch the sunset. The panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and beyond from the summit at 596 meters are spectacular.
The walk starts at the upper car park and follows a well-marked track around the mountain before heading up a steep grassy section and a few rocky steps. At the top, you will watch the sunset with a hot drink and slice of cake, before the adventure of returning to the bottom in the dark by headtorch begins.

Don’t worry – our sports centres can help you get your fitness levels to where they need to with a bespoke trek programme, just ask for the information at one of our sports centres. You’ll get all the support you need from our expert gym staff along the way plus InBody composition scans to help keep you on the right track. Plus, we have many fitness classes to help you to develop the skills you need to take on your challenge and succeed!
Not a member – not a problem! Join us now and we’ll waive the joining fee – simply ask at reception and tell them you’re undertaking the trek challenge.
