Sports Libraries
Our Sports Libraries initiative provides local residents and families the opportunity to borrow a range of FREE sports equipment which can be taken home and used within local community settings.
The initiative has been developed by our Libraries and Sport Development teams and aims to help provide more opportunities for people within our local communities to gain access to sports equipment and to enjoy physical activity – whether that’s exercising on their own at home or playing sports with their family and friends.
We have added to the equipment that is available to borrow including kettlebells, resistance bands, foam flyers, badminton sets, cricket sets and a range of balls (football, rugby, basketball and netball). All items are FREE to borrow for a 3-week period, subject to availability.
