This February Half Term we have a selection of fun filled activities for children of all ages at our venues across Blaenau Gwent.
Sports Centres
Our popular Playschemes will be returning to all three of our sports centres offering a range of sports activities and games for children aged 8 – 12 years. Sessions are £5.15 per child, and pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Monday 20th February at Tredegar (sports hall activities only)
Wednesday 22nd February at Ebbw Vale (sports hall activities and swimming session)
Friday 24th February at Abertillery (sports hall activities and swimming session)

Libraries
Throughout the half term we have a series of FREE Art Workshops taking place at all our libraries, where children aged 5 – 10 can work with an artist to create some Tom Fletcher ‘In My Book’ inspired art pieces. Spaces are limited, so please call the library to book your FREE place:

All our libraries will also have a FREE book character themed treasure hunt for children of all ages to enjoy – simply find the book characters hidden around the library and then claim your chocolatey prize from our staff.
Parc Bryn Bach
In addition to the usual fun family activities such as Mini Golf, Go Kart hire and FREE children’s play area which are available every day at Parc Bryn Bach, there are also a range of exciting adventure activities on offer this month:
SUP Taster Session (Ages 8+) on Tuesday 21st February
Tiki SUP (Ages 8+) on Wednesday 22nd February
Adventure Activity Day (Ages 8-14) on Friday 24th February
Climb & Cave (Ages 4+) on Saturday 25th February

Bedwellty House & Park
Throughout half term we have a selection of fun family activities taking place at Bedwellty House, starting with a magical story trail for children aged 3 - 8 years on Tuesday 21st February where the Green Fairy will be leading us on an adventure up the beanstalk to help Jack on his quest. On Friday 24th February the science team from ExperiMENTAL will be hosting a special wizarding themed Potion Party for children aged 4 - 12. *Please note that both these activities are now fully booked*
