Free Children’s Activities at our Libraries
Our Libraries across Blaenau Gwent have a whole host of fun FREE activities coming up throughout February and March as part of our Winter of Wellbeing funded programme:
Roald Dahl Themed BFG Art Workshop
Come along and join us for a fun filled FREE art workshop where we will be creating themed artwork on Roald Dahl’s BFG at Tredegar Library on Tuesday 8th February from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. This workshop is suitable for ages 5 - 11.
Harry Potter Themed Art Workshops
Come along and join us for a series of fun filled FREE art workshops where we will be creating some Harry Potter themed artwork and making Mandrakes! These workshops are suitable for ages 7 - 11.

Witches & Wizards Storytelling Sessions
Join Louby Lou's Storytelling team for a spellbinding, storytelling adventure as we explore the magic behind some of your favourite Witches & Wizards! We’ll be bubbling up imaginary potions, casting powerful spells and even trying our hands at broomstick flying in this FREE interactive sessions:
Tredegar Library – Saturday 12th February at 10.30am
Cwm Library – Tuesday 15th February at 3.30pm
Brynmawr Library – Friday 18th February at 3.30pm
Ebbw Vale Library – Saturday 19th February at 10.30am
Abertillery Library – Saturday 5th March at 10.30am
Blaina Library – Thursday 10th March at 3.30pm
These storytelling sessions are suitable for ages 3-8 and last 45 minutes.
Spaces are limited for all these sessions, so pre-booking is essential - please call your local library to book your FREE place:
