Holocaust Memorial Day

To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday, 27th January, our libraries will be organising a range of free activities, including:

  • Coffee Mornings at Blaina, Tredegar and Brynmawr libraries on Monday, 27th January from 9.30am – 12.30pm.  Free refreshments will be provided, and everyone is welcome to pop along and have a chat.

  • All our libraries will have a dedicated book display and reading material available so people can find out more information about Holocaust Memorial Day and the Trust.

  • Our libraries are also encouraging the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust’s global read along of ‘The Book Thief’ by Markus Zusak and a copy will be available in each library if people wish to take part.
