National Fitness Day 2023

This year’s National Fitness Day is taking place on Wednesday 20th September 2023 and is focussing on the theme of Your Health is for Life in order to encourage people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to recognise and celebrate the lifelong physical and mental benefits of being active.

At Aneurin Leisure we want to bring people together through physical activity and so on National Fitness Day we will be providing a series of FREE activities at our sports centres:

  •  FREE InBody health and wellbeing scans available at all 3 sports centres

  •  FREE first gym session or group exercise class at all 3 sports centres

  •  FREE Queenax fitness classes at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre at 6.15am, 9.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.45pm & 7pm

National Fitness Day is just one step in a much bigger life long wellbeing journey, so we are also offering to waive joining fees for anyone who would like to sign up for a life membership at any of our sports centres on Wednesday 20th September 2023.

Our life membership offers value for money and flexibility with no contracts when you sign up, as well as:

  •  Access to state-of-the-art gyms at all 3 of our sports centres.

  •  Unlimited use of swimming pools at 3 sports centres during public opening times.

  •  Over 100 weekly group exercise classes suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

  •  An induction with experienced and expert fitness personnel to help you map out your objectives and personal journey to achieve your goals.

  •  Ongoing support and encouragement throughout your journey.

  •  Use of all three of our sports centres’ facilities – you’re not tied to just the one you join.

  •  Ability to add your child to your membership from just £10 per month.

  •  Free access to the showers and changing facilities.

  •  Secure lockers to store your belongings.

  •  A friendly welcome and inclusive environment from other members and our team.
